Remote Truck Release - '69 Barracuda Convertible????

Was there ever an option for a remote (electric) trunk release mechanism in a 1969 Barracuda Convertible? The one I'm restoring has an electric release latch but the OEM wiring harness (Year One) reproduction does not have a provision for this option. If Plymouth made that as an option, where would the switch go on the dash?

My guess is my buddy who started the restoration of this car put this in from a newer Mopar car.

I don't think so. Only place I recall seeing that switch mounted was inside the glove box, On a plastic glove box.

Never heard of it..mines a 69 vert and nothing like that on mine, but ya never know....

Electrical drawings have no such wiring shown either.

Dont think so BUT the later mopars, 80's stuff, had a latch that bolts on

I have seen a sweet install if you want to... Inside hood release w/ chrome handle under left side of dash ( also a later model option ) with elec' trunk release button w/bezel mounted on the side of it similar to how it was mounted in the glove box.
