removing inner fenders??

hey,

I have a 69 cuda, the inner fenders are pretty rusty and i was thinking of taking them out, not only because there rusty but because i have a 440 that im putting in it. And i want lots of room for my 440 stroker to be able to move.

Any thoughts or suggestions?? 8)

The inners are part of the reinforcing/support structure for the front of the car.

If you take them out, try to run a snout bar from a roll cage to support your shock tower and add rigidity to the front frame rails.

There are plenty of guys running around without inners, I'd reinforce with a tube if it was my car. Mine is getting a set of snout bars.
