I am looking for advice on how to remove a seized rear axle. Right side slid right out, but left side will not budge. I tried a slide hammer but it still will not budge.
Any Ideas out there?

As long as all 5 nuts are off and the plate is free, your only option is a torch and heat the housing and use a crap load of liquid wrench or WD40 before the torch. You could hit the housing where the bearing sits a bit to see if it helps, but this should pop out,as its a tapperd bearing and seal, double check the bolts and get a bigger slide hammer, mrmopartech
Email me your number to call you,MMT

Thanks, - yup all nuts are off & plate is free. Will let it soak with Liquid Wrench overnight, & try Hitting the housing like you suggested. My shop Manual says - Do not use a Torch. However a bit on heat should not hurt.

Thanks for the advice.

I ended up having to put the heat to it, and it cracked loose right away. The seals & bearings look like they need replacing anyway, so heating it is a non-issue.
