Removing upper ball joints on a 74 Dart

Haynes manual makes mention of a special tool. Can't seem to find anyone who knows what it is.

Can anyone tell me what the tool is or any other way to remove the upper ball joints?

Edit - It is a hex style ball joint.

It is a special socket used to spin the ball joint out of the upper control arm. Someone just posted about making their own socket. Do a search for it.

Ball joint socket. Try your local parts store and see if they have it on their tool loan program.

My ugly assed homebrew one. If you buy one, you'll have to determine if you have the early "small" joints or the late disc brake "large" joints. Make sure you find out so you get the right size
