My PST 16:1 box was warrantied for excessive play at the pitman arm. Turns out there was a bearing missing.

I am got the new one today, but wondering what the best way to replace it is. I want to be sure I install the box straight on.

My plan was to leave the pitman arm attached to the center link and remove the old box and then install the new one. I am sure my toe is going to need to be re adjusted.

Thoughts?

Maybe not. If the replacement box is the exact same one, the toe shouldn't change. Pull the column, pop the pitman loose and see if it will come out without having to mess with the exhaust manifold.

LOL now that is some great quality control ....... China at it's best ....lol
No, the quality control is on the company the contracted to have the box manufactured. If the company is relying on someone else to do the quality control they will be selling crap.
