I am reupholstering my seats for my Dodge Aspen build.

I would really appreciate advice on what kind of grommets (& installation) to put into the vinyl material for the hog rings to attach to and

what are the different foams available, what is the best to use?

any input would be revered/most appreciated, thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure I have ever seen grommets for the hog rings (although one would think they would need to have them)
Most of what I have seen is a string or metal wire sewn into the edges of the material to keep the rings from pulling out, but the rings just go through the material. (there's a name for the string, but I can't seem to come up with it)
This is how our BMW full interior recovers are, as well as the recovered seats in my Dart are done.

Maybe search Youtube.com for some instructional video's.

If you haven't already taken the old covers off of your seats yet, I would like to offer a bit of advice.

Take pics of EVERYTHING!!!! And I mean every little detail of where the hog rings are located, how the material is folded around the corners, the location of the seat back adjustment studs, etc, etc, etc.....

When you go to put the covers back on, these pics will be invaluable!!!
