That simplifies things!
A lot! The whole switching dilemma comes into play with the "RE" series overdrive/lockup transmissions that had their functions controlled by the factory computer... the (904 lockup) 999/32RH were comparatively simple, being hydraulic. No overdrive, just lockup. But since they didn't have overdrive, they don't require the crossmember mods that the OD units do. Just run highway rear gears and let the low first do the work for you.
