Hey all, I got one for you.

My Carter T-Q has an electric assited choke. The hot wire goes into a resistor and then to the choke base to help heat up the choke.

What's the Ohms of the resistor? It's a /78, 400 B engine set up.

Since the cold snap, the car just runs rough. I do realize tha big block takes lots of time to warm up. Even then, it runs poor. I just swapped out the old plugs and replaced the burnt wire to the resistor. Now the ignition brakes up. I'm going to disconnect it in a few min.'s. (Affter the post) and see how it runs.

Engine is tired and a little oil, not much, gets past the valve seals.

Hey Rumble, I would try a 15ohm 2 watt resistor. That seems to be the magic resistor for alot of problems. If you can't find one let me know and I'll see if I can't dig you up a resource or 2.
