Wheel/tires combo:
Billet specialties 15X10 (3.25 BS) 325/50/15

The car is already painted and interior is complete with custom door panels, dash pads and visors, including all new bezels.

Fuel supply.. unsure? Definitely doing a 15 gal fuel cell in the trunk.
E58 fuel

EFI as of now I'm going with Big Stuff3 but will purchase that last.. I was looking into the MS3 too.

This car will be just a hot rod to go show off at the local cruise ins and car shows with seeing track time once or twice a month. I would like to be able to drive the car to the track run some nines a drive it home. 50 miles one way!

Goals are make over 1001 rwhp, be streeable, be different, run low 9's

The fun starts tomorrow with suspension. Looking to complete this project by end of March. I will take lots of pics as I go starting tomorrow. I volunteer at VRC a race shop/fabricator so I'm going to do as much of the work as I can (safely).

Mopar or No Car!

I'm glad to see you toned it down a bit

I hear ya... I could have just done a stroker but I had to go and put a turbo on a nascar engine! Hey guys watch this.. famous last words.

BTW are you a Dunkin donuts guy or Starbucks?

wow.... sometimes I'm speechless. It could be the engine combination or the Vodka. .... I like the build for sure.

actually...we like Bob Evens (Restraunt)....I know his restraunts are not everywhere...

Bob was a famous sausage maker in our parts...I think I still remember his slogan..."you can beat our prices,...but you can't beat our meat"...or something like that

Interesting. You turned a comment about an engine build into jerking off! Super!

sorry...I'll try to keep with the subject at hand

BTW USCG...is that the end of March..of this year??

lol yes, wishfull thinking? I hope not; the tough part about this is the logistics. Waiting on parts builder, etc... money shouldn't be an issue it's the waiting that is going to kill the time frame on the build. Luckly my engine builder has all the parts but the pistons which are 2 wks out.

Started on the rear suspension today. I took out all the 8.75 stuff mostly b/c I needed to take it all apart and package it up for shipment. Monday I will purchase all the hiem joints and bars for the tri 4 link. My Nascar 9" housing is already here along with the alumn center section.

Mine is going to look exactly the same! Black with red tail..... red gts on the fenders, trunk and hood and red inside the bulge hood inserts ... cool!

hopefully tomorrow I can get the front k frame all mocket up then tues take it off and get it to the powder coater.

Ok quick update.. I spent about 2.5 hrs under the car getting that POS stock K frame and all the LCA. torsion bars, etc out.. I still need to get the steering box off but other than that out with the old in with the new! Tshells K frame and LCA took be about 15 min to install.. very nice pieces. I wanted to mock everything up before I send it to the powder coater. Tomorrow I will finished with the steering, mount the shock brace then take it all off and off to the powder coater it goes.

I did get as much accomplished as I wanted to today. I finished the mock up cut the steering column, mounted the shock towers, put the coil overs in place and mounted the pinto rack. This K frame fits like a glove. this week I plan to get the rear wheels and tires in place and start the rear mock up. hoping by mid next week I can get everything off and to the powder coater.
