I had a automatic 904, and switched to a 4 speed. My question is, the reverse switch on the 4 speed has a 2 prong on it, and the automatic I had had a one wire hook up. What do I need to do? Do I need to just ground one side of the 2 prong plug?

What year/ model we working on, and do you have a shop manual/ wiring diagram?

The one wire on your 904 is NOT reverse, it's the neutral safety switch. You'll have to ground the terminal it hooks to up at the start relay, one of the two "push on" connectors

The reverse switch on early torqueflites is on the shift linkage. So depending on column shift or console,...............................

you'll have to find it, extend the wiring out through the bulkhead connector, and run them down to the 2 prong setup on the 4 speed.

I have no idea if or where you can get the connector

It's a 68 dart with a counsel shifter. Thanks for the info, I thought that one wire to the 904 was reverse.. oops. So when I disconnected the wires from the old counsel shifter that is where the reverse wire must be. Thank You.
