I have a 1973 duster plymouth body-a and I need to know what the rings are in american racing 8 "front and 10" rear

I wait for your answer

Best regards

Rims (AKA Wheels) or rings, (AKA Trim rings that go onto the wheel)

Are you looking for wheel sizes?

Hey Bernald13, I dont want to sound like a jerk, but did you look in the stickey thread? Post your wheel and tire combos.
Remeber that we use a deep back spacing. Shallow back spacing can cause a problem with wide wheels and the fender lips.

Currently I have a 275/60/15 (28 inch diameter) on my Dusters rear end. The off set has a shallow backspacing. The tires would rub if it was not for the SS-springs. The tires come out of the wheel well just a little bit. There also on a 8 inch wheel.

Here are some old photos just after I got the car.

Hi, My Duster has the height and suspension of the factory. Then what sizes of wheels do you think I should buy

you can fit a 10" wide in the rear all day long and not stick out like that. the backspace on the 8" must be pretty low on rumbles rear :p.
Bernald13 search the wheel an tire forum for 72bluNblu, he has helped many (including myself with tire and rim measurements, very knowledgeable). you should be able to find your answer in one of his post!

Good Luck

That's true. My back spacing is 3-11/16 on the rear wheels with a 8.5 wide wheel.

On my wife's '67 Cuda, I have 15X8's with a 4 inch back spacing.

72bluNblunis your man!

26 X 10 on a 15 X 8 wheel vintiques Ralley wheel.

This is for the same car in this thread? Plymouth Duster 1973 small block wheels

So, V8 car with factory 5x4.5" bolt pattern, disks up front, drums out back and either a 7.25 or 8.25" rear axle. My answer is the same as it was before-

15x7" front with a 4.25" backspace. 15x8" rear with 4.5" backspace. Max front tire is 225/60/15 and max rear tire is 275/60/15.

There is no point in trying to run a 15x8 up front. None. Widest tire you're going to get up front with a 15" rim and a non-custom backspace is a 225/60/15. Those fit just fine on 15x7's. Same for the rear. Widest tire you'll fit back there without hanging it out of the wheel wells is a 275/60/15, which fit just fine on 15x8's. The "measuring rim" for the tire specs is actually a 15x8, and the absolute widest rim a 275/60/15 is supposed to be mounted on is a 15x9.5".
