Just read that Fess Parker, Davey Crockett and Daniel Boone has passed. All my childhood heros are going fast.
Will have to dig out my ratty coon skin cap in his honor

We just wen to the Walt Disney Museum in the Presidio (in SF) and there was a section dedicated to Fess and his beloved characters.

RIP Fess!
