WWE Legend George 'The Animal' Steele Dies at Age 79

I think he was a high school teacher and varsity baseball coach in Madison Heights, Mich. Back in the mid to late 1980's.

RIP Animal. Loved watching him, a true original.

Very sad to hear. I grew up watching him on TV and I even went to the wrestling matches (they were real totally real then LOL). You know you're getting older when you see all of the people you grew up with passing. Probably the most memorable TV moment of George was when they were supposedly giving him electro-shock therapy and he was reciting "How now brown cow" LOL. What a character, he will be missed. RIP George.

RIP George. He had a masters degree in education, I think, since he was a high school teacher and coach pre wrestling.

Lot of them passing lately !!!
Watched them as a kid saw some of them in Seattle in the early 80's .
I think it was called big time wrestling then ?
