RMS Street Lynx rearend?

on the RMS website it appears that the Street Lynx rear setup only uses an 8 3/4, ford 9" or a dana. Does this mean an 8 1/4 will not work???

Also as far as the Alterktion, whats the difference between the street/strip model and the street/handling model?

I'm pretty sure the 8 1/4" is the same as the 8 3/4". But give RMS a call.

8 1/4 has 3" tubes like the 8 3/4 i believe. i think it would work. not sure when spending the money you would want to limit yourself to a 8 1/4 though...

well i wont be gettin my RMS stuff for a while and right now im still working on finding a rear for my car. the more cost effective way right now is the 8 1/4. but if it wouldnt work later i wouldnt bother with it

all you would have to do is buy/make new tabs that are welded to the rear to swap to a 8 3/4.
