Road salt anyone

Here in CT, in the past they used a 5 to 1 mix of sand and salt [average mix]. Now the state and most towns are using chemicals only. Cars and trucks are rusting faster. And water wells are getting polluted by salt. It costs homeowners about $3,000 to have a new water system drilled and put in. Too much salt causes high blood pressure, especially in older people.

This is why I cry when I see southern cars being parted because they have "too much rust to fix"- Buddy, you have no idea what rust is until you've lived in the upper Midwest or east coast... Around here, if you can still salvage parts off of it, then it isn't rusty at all yet!
