So my dad has been doing alot of genealogy stuff and he just found out that we are distantly related to General Lee. Just thought that was kinda cool.

My sons mother claims they are related to him also and gave all of her kids Lee as another middle name.

My aunts (all 9 of of my dad's sisters) did the geneology thing and found out that we were related to him through his wife or something like that.

This means if you are you would be related to Martha Washington. George Washington's wife, because Mary Lee, Robert E. Lee's wife is the daugherty of Martha Washington's grandson which would be George's step- grandson George Washington Parke Custis who owned Arlington house at Arlington National Cemetery.
