Rocker Arm Retainers

Putting 340 engine back together. Purchased new rocker shafts and stock rocker arms. You have 5 bolts and retainers per side to bolt the shaft down.

6 of the retainers are not as wide as the other 4. I am thinking that the narrow retainers go on the ends and in the center (3) and the other (2) go in between. (Each head)

Could someone please confirm this. I guess I just getting old too fast and am getting the CRS disease! ( Can't Remember S--t !)

should be able to place the rockers on the valve tips and it will tell you which goes where..and the 4 do go on the end if my mind is right but its late and im medicated right now...
