Hey guys, was using the search engine but didn't get an exact answer. I'm losing .035" lift through pushrod geometry with a roller cam small block. I've tried many different lengths of the rocker adjuster, right now I'm showing about 1 thread on the adjuster. I have a .534/.538 lift cam, and Hughes 1.5 rockers. Using a quality starret dial indicator and Hughes adjustable Lifter/pushrod. I can just cross over .503 lift. I know the geometry for a roller cam small block is ****, but am I really expected to lose .035 lift?? The sweep on my gauge is only .2" so it's a real pia to loosen and take many measurements over and over and over.I have the max lift possible right now and would love to order pushrods tomorrow. Thanks guys!

Phil

Get used to it.

You can't fix the 59* lifter bore. Only band aid is to use a ~1.55 rocker

Hey I can live with .500 lift, she's just a truck engine. In all hindsight I should have gone with 1.6 rockers. I would if I was building my dusters engine and will take this into consideration because it's roller cam as well. Thanks again guys!
