rubber bumper guards

I have removed the bumpers from a 1974 dodge swinger to have them rechromed, how do i remove the rubber strip on the bumper guards, and how to I reattach after the bumpers and guards have been rechromed

My 74 dart se has them and they have studs that go through the guards molded into the rubber. All of mine are rusted like hell and I even found a used pair and they were worse. Hope it helped.

I used a dremel w/ assorted cutters to remove the nuts. Then cleaned the studs threads for new nuts.

yes it did. Less than perfect rubber reinstalled too.

Kind of wish someone will make repos. Nos I have seen for 50-90 ea!
