Here's a good one guys. The wife and I went out for corned beef
and cabbage. Got to the reastraunt, sat down and ordered.
The waitress took forever to take our order. Then came back
with the soup that went with the meal. Half way through the
soup she tells me they are out fo the corned beef. WTF!
She had to know that when she gave me the soup.
The thing I want to know is how can then short order for
the special of the day. A St. Paddys day icon. This is a very
established reastraunt. How stupid can people be.

What a let down. Once I went to Burger King, Sat staring at the menu for a minute while I discussed with my wife what I wanted. The kid at the register asks to take my order, I tell him what I want and he says "we all out of hamburgers" Couldnt he have told me that when I walked in ?

I went to the grocery store yesterday to get a corned beef brisket for supper & they had sold out of it. I ended up going to the only other grocery store in town to get one (& payed more for it). I think it's a giant conspiracy!

should have asked for the king toy and they pummeled him adam, heh

Joyce & I went to Safeway (large grocery store chain) Sunday night. She wanted to pick up some green carnations for her classroom and some green shamrock cookies for the kids. There were none to be found. We were told to come back in yesterday morning which we did. Still, neither of these were to be found. We have been picking them up there for years. Joyce's exact words were, "I think there's some sort of St Patrick's Day conspiracy going on."
