Rust proofing your classic car

-
I love the name "Motorious".

I've been doing this for years on all restorations that I have completed. I normally do this as the last step before the car leaves. I refer to it as cavity wax or cavity coater. I do the inside of frame rails, door seams, hood seams, and trunk seams. Basically anywhere there is an area where paint has a hard time reaching. I even do this on my new cars as soon as we purchase them. I will be finishing a 69 RR shortly and it will get the treatment.

Thanks
James

Cosmoline. Newer cars use it and it's a ***** to get off because it's like a blend of wax and vaseline but it does the job well.

There's a product available in Canada that does a great job but I can't recall the name.

The Brits use WaxOyl....

What do you guys think about that Internal frame coating from Easton? Anyone used it with success.

I haven't used their rust proofer but I have used their paint. Did my engine with it, looks nice and his holding up well.
