Is there any difference between saginaw and federal power steering pumps besides the fact that they are different types? Is any of both better in some way than the other?

maybe the pressure. maybe the fittings? i know when i went to the power rack i was told i needed the saginaw. which sucked because i have like 6 federals out in the shed...lol.

From what I read from the link that abodyjoe provided (Thank You) my best option seems to be the federal. I didn't knew it had a valve to regulate psi., maybe mine is worn out and thats why at higher RPM's the duster feels too damn sloppy.
Any other previous experience or opinion about this topic out there?
