Yep, a replacement will probably do you much better than trying to repair a 50+ year old headliner.

There was a headliner company downtown close to Ft Sam that I used years ago when I had the headliner on my Dodge Van done. Excellent work and was not expensive. Don't recall the name of the place.

I have installed many headliners. That was 40 years ago and I swore NO more. PIA. But I will not pay someone to do something I can actually do! So ever since, I clean the inside of roof, spray it with epoxy primer, some left over top coat, and finish it off with undercoat, bedliner or BodySchultz!!!!! You probably can guess I never take one to a car show!!!
Like said, but the repop headliner form Legendary etc.
