anybody know what brackets i need for a sanden compressor on my 64 cuda 273 it has the cast iron water pump. i can't seem to locate one except for the alum water pump. any suggestions. many thanks

Vintage Air lists a kit-Mopar 318-360 V8 engines (early to 1969) Part number 15120-VMB. The rough drawing picture they show on their website shows that it moves the alternator to the driver side of the engine, and states that the alt brackets are not included. It does kind of show the cast iron water pump though. Looks like it would work. Let us know if you get one and how it fits. I thought about putting factory air on my 68 340 GTS with the Sanden compressor, but haven't got that far yet.

Not sure about the 508 and how it would mount. Send an e-mail to [email protected] he has helped me out with my a/c maybe he can help. I know sanden makes a shorty compressor that uses the stock mounts.

I didn't have any problem bolting a Sanden off an 85 LA M-body onto the Demon. There were two bolts in the that connected on the water pump and there was an L-bracket on the back of the compressor that bolted to the intake. I've tried on both pre & post '71 front covers without any problems.
