For the last couple days on the way to work I saw this really nice 67 corvette stingray vert going up the road with the flow of traffic.
Thought the guy was kinda nuts driving such a nice car in this particular stretch of highway since its notorious for red neck yahoos driving like jag offs with no regard for others.
Well this morning I see a plume of smoke ahead on the right and as we get closer we see a couple cars pulled over to the shoulder with a group of people standing around a red corvette stingray that was in a ditch on its roof with everything smashed to the tops of the doors.
Both doors were shut and it looks like if someone is under that car....it's not going to be pretty.
Not sure what happened and I did not hear anything on the news or otherwise.
I called all my buddies in the area including a couple brothers who both have red corvettes that belong to several car clubs......nobody heard anything yet.
I just hope that whomever was driving that car survived.
We were going to stop but the GSP and fire crews were just arriving.
Sucks.
