haha burn! i dont even have a SB... i was just curious as to its purpose...

If you have a "Engines" book, you can read up on it there and see a few things. You have to drill out the oil passages and hammer in the tubes. Once the tubes are in, the other part in the picture, the "Peen" is used to clearance the lifters passed the tube.
