Couldn't sleep last night thinking about all the things I need to get done for my 360 build up. I remembered that the 360 motor mounts are different from the 318 and that Schumacher sold brand new powder coated mounts. I figured they would be a long lead time item, so I got up to look them up and print out the phone number so I could call in an order today.

Well, it just so happens they have PayPal orders now, so I went ahead and ordered online. When I got home this evening there were two emails, one confirming the order, and the other with a UPS tracking number. Everything I ordered was in stock and has already shipped!!  Woohoo!! I got the engine mounts, adjustable torque strap, wiper seal kit and firewall gasket kit. :thumleft:

I have the mounts and strap for the Valiant. I'm not much for the sandwich mounts, but the spool type I had on my Dart were awesome. No motor movement whatsoever. I still get a little with the sandwich and strap but before I put the strap on it was horrible! I'm talking like and inch of movement at an idle from left to right!!! It was crazy! But alls well now.

I ended up makeing a solid mount for my Schumaker conversion.
I never did install the rubber one.
I took a block of steel, drilled and tapped two holes, threaded in two bolts and Wa la no more worring if the mount would break. I only used it on the left side so the engine and tranny can still move but the mount will never pull apart

Im running the Moroso steal mount in my car. I got tired of changing the rubber ones.

I had a set of Moroso steel motor mounts in a 71 Chevelle I had, I had to replace them a year later. I actually ripped one in two.
I didn't have any problems after I swapped converters.

They make nice stuff,i picked up my big-block conversion kit from them at Carlisle in July.
Haven't used them yet so i can't say how good they work.

Just a follow up... I recieved my complete order Tuesday. I just got around to opening up the package tonight. Everything looks real nice. :thumleft:
