Original buckets in my 1965 Barracuda. The seat back is attached with one bolt each side, so every time I stop short, the seat back of the passenger side slams forward to its collapsed position. Anyone have a way to «lock» the seat back in the upright position when not needed for entry?

Unfortunately that’s the way they were designed. My 66 seats going in my 65 do the same thing.
There is a special spring the the bottom of the holes where you attach the seat back. They are probably broken.
When you get a chance can you post a picture?
