hi...all just put a bench seat back in car ...how does the seat stay in through hole ...no grooves for a clip ..no threads...what does one use??? thanks so much

5/16 studs swedged into the tracks should have threads. Special type of nut with toothed washer attached goes under the car.

thanks red...I should have said on the side attached too the seatbelt cover on the side

I don't know then. There should be a threaded hole for a special shoulder bolt that the back hinges on and a stud with no threads is only a stop.
