I would like to take apart the '65 Formula S bucket seat slides/tracks to really clean 'em up. There appears to be two approaches: A) removing/grinding on the head of a fastener so things slide out and B) a tricky way of getting over the "hump" without messing with the head. Can't find any description of either method of disassembly on this forum, but found this:

70 Challenger Seat Tracks?

Point at what you're trying to take apart.

If it's the sliding mechanism-

You should be able to slide it far enough in one direction to expose the bolt head, then after removing that bolt, slide it the other way and now have enough clearance to remove the other.

Note that the plastic roller guides are asymmetrical.
If they don't go back in the same way they came out, you will lose about 2 inches of seat travel adjustment.

There is good video on youtube. Tracks aren't exactly the same for all year models but close enough that the video should help.
