Selling At Carlisle ?

How do You protect Yourself from false checks, fake bills etc., and still sell the car, and let it go that day ?

Advertise it in the paper what car you're bringing,and that the sale is cash only. Or meet at a bank.

I here you can buy one of those markers ( at Wal mart ) all the stores use to mark on a bill to tell if it's real or fake.

Carlisle has in house banking there at the fairgrounds. But I always do bank wires, never sell a car on Sunday when the banks are closed, just that simple.

I would suggest make any transaction at Carlisle cash only, unless you are selling something that will be particularly expensive (so unlikely someone would be carrying that kind of cash). Going through the banking transaction process with the people Carlisle has on site is not a bad idea either.
