Sending unit question...

Dont mean to slam you folks with questions but I always bank on experience rather than luck. I have a fuel seep at the lock ring for my sending unit in my fuel tank. I bought a new lock ring, seal and strainer from year one and what I would like to know is; If I put my car up on jack stands and lower the rear end (which is a DANA 60) can I snake the sending unit out without lowering the fuel tank. By the way this is in a 70 Duster. Your knowledge and advise is much appreciated. Thanks....Don....

on my 67 barracuda, i swapped the sender without even jacking it up. i don't know the physical attributes of a duster though

no problem with the duster as i did it on my demon and they are the same.

didn't even jack it up just drove it up on my hoist :thumleft:
