Shaker Hood on 65 Barracuda

Well I am just about done with the complete refinishing of the interior on this Cuda, getting ready for body work and paint. I got to thinking about it an have decided to put on a shaker hood insert/cutout. Before I invent the wheel has anybody done this?

Hate to be a wet blanket, but personally I don't like the Shakers on the anybodies. It's too big and doesn't look right.
