I have been thinking about using Shark hide on my polished cast aluminum SBM valve covers. Does anyone have any experience using this product? How well will it hold up to the heat?
Thanks in advance

Ive been thinking about same. Not really sharkhide but something to keep polished covers protected long term. Thought about 2K clear but not sure if it'll stick to such a smooth surface.

Dang I thought you were going to clad the valve covers in real shark skin.

But think how unique it would be to have snake skin valve covers!

anything polished rub it down with "Never dull" aluminum or brass. comes in a can looks like a giant cotton ball. Rub it in and wipe it clean. Lasts a long time. Most auto stores carry it.

I used that stuff every day on my brass while serving in the USMC in the '70's. It DOES work.
