shipping fenders

What is the cheapest why to ship fenders?I shipped some barracuda fenders last summer UPS and it was not cheap at all.

Greyhound but it would be best to build something to protect them since they aren't very careful how they are loaded.

I agree that Greyhound would be the cheapest route. When I ship things through Greyhound I go to my local appliance dealers and ask them if I can go through their boxes. I take out the triangular shaped corner supports and I cut them to put in the corners of my custom boxes, and I cut them to run sideways so it is harder to crush.
