shop truck slant I D

bought my 67 shop truck a few years ago
rebuilt carb got it run on 5 carb had no pcv and manual choke
did compression test and # 2 was funky ..had compression than didn't ...figured valve problem
had another 67 pu with a 225 (i think) pulled the head and sent it out hardened seats and new springs
so pulled the engine found bent push rods ,egine looks fresh still has hash marks and very little carbon
i have know idea what engine this is .....

I'm not seein' it. Truck is more than half a century old. It was a working vehicle. It was repaired over the years with the parts that came to hand.

oh yes i know ....they are so hard to find parts for .....and it is getting built as a shop truck ,leaving some dents ...
its funny to think that nothing will be will be from matching trucks 9 trucks gave their lives so far just so one could live
