Now that I am thinking about rebuilding my 318 I am looking for a good machine shop and/or speed shop.

Anybody have any suggestions for a good shop in the Phoenix area?
 
For your machine work i recommend chucks speed center of I-17 and indian school 602-266-5101

what do you want? need a shop to R&R for you?

Thanks for the reply. I did not see this until now. I will give them a call tomorrow morning.

I am going to want basic cleaning and bore/hone on the block. Hopefully 0.020 over. Then looking for zero deck milling and some head work. Take the intake valves from 1.88 to 2.02. Not sure exactly what shape the block and heads are in yet since they are not out of the car. Probably crankshaft balancing. I would also like to mill the intake to match the heads.
 
I'll second Chuck's. Turns out a friend and mentor of mine works there...lol.
