what application for the shortest throttle cable for our A bodies (Dusters).....doesn't need to be Duster or even A body....just a shot one that hooks to the pedal assembly

Check year one. I think they give lengths. Check a 67 to 69 383 A Body cable.

On eBay there is one with tape measure. 383 dart cuda A body, looks to be 15-16 inches. What body?

The factory 1969 Dart 340 length is 19 inches. I would think early Dusters would be the same with a small block.

Thanks....I saw that one on E bay....maybe I will do a Lokar....Ideally another 3" to 4" off that e-bay cable would be on the money.

As I understand it, the 383 A Body cable is the shortest.

i run one from a Harley Davidson on my duster
it came with a nice 90 degree bend that guides the cable up, as soon as it comes out of the fire wall

i then cut everything down to where i liked it, with a little bit of slack for engine movement

I have one that is around 3" shorter than a stock A body one, I cannot remember what it came off of.
Its yours if I can find it.
