Hello all. Looking for a close-to stock 340 engine to rebuild and put into my 71 Swinger. 200+- miles from the Pittsburgh, PA area.

short block machine shop cleaned and checked ,1968 340 block std bore std std steel crank std 340 stock pistons,stock rods new arp bolts , new cam bearing and freeze plugs not installed used a little comp hp double roller chain with gears ,oil pump drive ,front cover ,water pump, steel crank balancer ,windage tray NO PAN new clevite rings,bearings. $1775.00 ohio

i have from 70 340 dart, located 11729 NY, ~400 miles east and can meet you in NJ for extra cost.

BLOCK -- .040 just back from machine shop - clean up hone, new cam bearings, new distrib bushing, has brass freeze plugs
HEADS - x heads, fully rebuilt
CRANK - stock, 10 or 20 under i forget, just cleaned up at machine ship
RODS - stock rods with like new KB pistons
TRANS - matching 727 for the block, rebuilt by previous owner, i never ran it
MISC - windage tray, oil pan, timing cover, oem balancer, hardware, i can throw in an aluminum intake to make it complete for you

Needs bearings/gaskets and final assembly, machine shop is wait listed for assembly, i am going crate motor.
