Don't know why this thought suddenly popped up in the brain cells
In the mid--late 70's I was working for my Father's auto parts store, and part of my job was mixing auto paint.
One day some body guy calls, and he says something like
"I need a pint of laquer, white white code xxxx123 etc"
"White? what kind of white?"
"WHITE white"
"I know you want WHITE, I need to know WHAT white!!"
"DAMMIT WHITE white!!!!"
"Look, are talkin' about ford, chevy or what?
"!!!!!!!!WHITE!!!!!!!"
"OK, I get the white, what the heck is this off of?"
"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's off a WHITE truck/ trailer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
