I currently have a stock 1989 318 roller motor in my 66 Barracuda. I am using an edelbrock intake manifold and 600 carb. I have duel exhaust but am using the stock 273 manifolds. I just came across a low mileage 360 magnum motor from a 1995 van. I haven't been able to find exact specs on the 318 as far as hp and torque. Looking for opinions. Would it be that noticeable of a change to switch to the magnum motor being that I am still using the restrictive 273 manifolds? I would like to switch to headers but not in the budget right now. Does anyone have specs to compare these 2 engines? Thanks

OOOooo tough call. I don't think the 360 would like the 273 manifolds. I would leave at is or install the 360 with headers (a pain). toolmanmike

You need headers or the stock Magnum maniflods. Now I don't know if they'll fit, I haven't tried that myself. If you ask in the early A section I'm sure someone in there would know. But the 273 manifolds are a real bad restriction to the 360.
