These are the Dynalite forged fixed calipers, they don't float. There's no pressure from the master, I confirmed that by popping a bleed screw and the fluid did not shoot out.

The wheel turns about 3-4 times, and the rotor without the wheel on it turns maybe 1/2 a turn.

For reference, each piston is sticking out about 1/8". Do I have bad calipers?

If you can turn it by hand its fine. All disc brake calipers drag a little. Their only relief is in runout of the rotor and a square 'O' ring flex.

Congrats Sharpie!!! You must of felt like a outcast going to Davis and having an old car.

What your describing sounds correct as far as the pads go. You can call to discuss them. You thrashin to get your car ready for this Saturday?

I would love to get it ready, but I found a new problem - the gas tank is leaking after about 10gal of gas gets into it. Assuming I get an alignment and my gas tank looked at, I might have it there by Saturday. I will definitely be there, I just don't know whether it'll be in the Jeep or the Demon.
