Really like your air cleaner setup.
thanks

its a spectre air filter housing
with 4 inch aluminum tubes
i cut the fenders and wrapped the "cuts" with vacuum hose
then, on the inside of the wheelwells there are 2 90 degree elbows (the kind you would use on turbo piping) which point up and forward
the idea of those elbows is to avoid sucking up all the road dirt and stuff that the front wheels kick up

i dont know if it serves as a ram air intake like this, but i DO know this sucks in way colder air from under the fenders then what you would find under the hood

Just starting to bolt it together this week. 408 6 Pack

Ignore the crummy Air Cleaner, that's just until I get the hood back on and take some measurements!

70 Duster - 360 - not shown is the vacuum canister I just added due to low brake vacuum. It's ugly, but I need my brakes! :(

Here´s mine......408ci in 68 Valiant Post car, changed from EDE RPM to EDE Victor and from 750 DP to Holley Sniper EFI....if there were no spare cables nobody would notice it under the air cleaner. To use 1.6 Rockers under the stock covers i had to made sandwich adapters. Soon to be changed to moroso electric water pump, will paint it to maintain the "stocker" look. Goal is a 10 sec. time slip this year.

Stixx, first race is 11.-12. of may in Bad Sobernheim at "Phoenix Dragway" - you´d like to come? I´ll be there.

Believe it or not, it a water temperature sensor for a Intelitronix gauge. Wish it wasn't so big. I am considering moving it to one of the plugged holes in the side if the block and the put the much smaller temperature sensor for the FiTech in it's place.

Or you may be right, after checking my temp sensor is still in the tee along with the FiTech sensor. I just screwed it in finger tight. You'd have figured the I would have paid attention to the fact that it had 2 wires connected to it. DOH!
