And my current project, it took me 25 years to own another 69 fastback - lots of A bodies in between, but never another Barracuda. I bought this car 10 months ago as an unfinished project that had bounced around different owners for years without being finished.

My high school car in the 80's - 318, auto. I sold it in Ottawa Ontario sometime around 86 and havent seen it since.

Hey Dave,

Really enjoyed your pictures. Pretty cool project you picked up. So what direction are you heading...Street fish or street and strip or drag only?

Also agree with the cool notch shot.

Thanks for posting some fish pics...

Plans are to make it race only - it is too modified to make a legit street car out of it - engine and drivers seat set back 10"-12", one piece glass nose etc. I have had some raunchy street cars, but not that raunchy. Initially I want to have it together, perhaps this spring, as a low buck bracket racer. So far I am into it for just over $2000,including wheels, slicks, brakes and Dana 60. Hopefully for somewhere around $6000 total I will be racing, then iron everything out and down the road, as my budget allows build a low deck stroker on alcohol and refine everything...

Here is a link to my build on bigblockdart

Anyone have any input on paint? I kind of like the look of the factory 68 hemi barracudas, and the sox & martin cars, or put it back to its factory B5 blue with lots of heavy metal flake?

Check out the weird glass nose - 69 peaked hood with 67-68 grill openings. Anyone ever seen one like it before?

that white fish looks wild Steve !

I agree. Someone really thinking outside of the fish box - LOL!

That has been one of the cool things about this fish picture adventure for me. Every once and a while I run across a car, like this one, that makes you go ohhhh! Very sweet looking car! Not seen anyone prep their fish that way...
