Ma's fish getting some new grills...
Met a guy at nationals that I bought a restored headlight bezel from. Ended up buying a complete set of trim from him after the show. He lives near by and drove up to my place today and we disassembled the grills. Now I have a little work to do on the egg crate parts to repaint and then will reassemble the lot. What a mess of little parts these things are. Must of costed a small fortune to assemble at the factory.
Anyway, my trim was dinged up as is typical, now it will look like new.

My build has been slow,I got the car about 4 years ago. Here are pics of when I first got it, Previous owner had the 273 on a stand was going to rebuild it and lost interest. I was just going to throw a used 360 in it and drive it. One thing lead to another. Next thing you know Im building a rottisserie and buying a blaster.
Plans are to get the body work done and build it to a respectable 12 second car. No tubs or full out racing. Just a nice cruiser. 4 speed white and black interior copper or burnt orange exterior.
Your car is awesome, I followed that build in mopar muscle and read what the story was in this thread.
Thanks for your hard work on this thread. I have gotten some great ideas from here.

Thanks for giving us more insight into the future fish plans. You are the victum of another "I will just...and then" situation which seems to be very common with car guys - LOL!

Please keep posting, I can not believe how many very fine
2nd gen barracudas on this thread, and the hard work that
goes into them.
Got my (our) plate in the mail yesterday, Had a tear and
some closure.
I always check this thread and scroll the back pages for
inspiration and ideas.
Also thank you for the time that you spend on posting
these beautiful cars. Alot of these cars are worth more than
a $$ value, but sentimental (spelling?) value,like mine (ours).
Those front grills are a lot of work, but well worth it. looking
good!
