Hey Competition!

Now that is a cool pic. Is the engine going in or coming out? What exactly are you up to?

It was on its way out in that picture. Just cleaning up the engine bay and giving the engine a rattle can tune up. Can't stand that ugly old oily paint flaking off engine any longer. Was going to hold off until winter to tear it down, but my A.D.D. got the best of me!

I like the wheels. Your car? Plans?

Currently dissasembling and getting ready to do all the body work. Pull the interior and redo. All stainless, chrome, aluminum and plastic will be redone. Currenly an automatic, want to go with 4 speed at some point. 273 2bbl and content to stay with that. I have other cars that I restored if I want to go fast. (Not all Mopars as I like all earlier American cars)
The only drawback is the roof is very rusty. Will be replacing the complete roof including the Dutch panel. Ordered one from a salvage yard in Oregon and should be getting in a couple of weeks. The wheels hmmm. not sure. I have Mopar rallys, police wheels and Cragar SS's. Will see. I checked out all the 2nd Generation Cuda's on this blog and none have a white with black vinyl top. I bought some cheap latex white and black from Home Depot and rolled it on. Mock up the car with these colors to see if it is a go (Car will be completely stripped). Also debating on reinstalling the vinyl top. The original color is pale yellow with the black vinyl top. Been on this site negotiating pieces. I think I got scammed by a a FABO member. Giving him the benefit of doubt. Attached pictures were taken several weeks ago - more done at this point including mock up paint.
Anyway - Having fun working on the car - pretty simple to work on.

Hey Nut4Vintage!

Thanks for the detailed reply. If you meant to attach more pics they did not come thru. Like to see them.

So over 18000 attachments in this thread and you could not find the combo you wanted. Damn, guess that means I will have to keep looking for fish - LOL! The finished pictures of your build you post here will be unique!

Keep us updated with pics of your progress..

Wow ESP47!! Beautiful fish!! I really like the wheel/tire combo. Just the right proportions. Makes the car look very mean. What color is it painted. Nice Nice Nice!

Thanks for posting. Would love to see more pics...

Ma Snart

Not my car Ma Snart. I found it when searching "dark copper Barracuda". Thinking about going with that color when I get mine up and running.
