Shroud to fit a 69 318.

I'm looking to find a shroud for a 69 Barracuda - 318 with a 22" radiator. I havent had much luck looking for an A body shroud for that year but have seen a couple of listings for A bodies 70 -72. Looking at the images and dimensions they appear to be the same as the earlier shrouds, are there any differences that anyone knows of? Thanks.

The relief for the radiator bottom outlet is on the opposite side.
You *might* be able to work around that, though.

Thank you, I dont think I'll chance it, I think the shroud I need has part number 2785 614? I'm going to have to check in the parts manual, I think the Moparshop in Germany have the correct one.

Yes the part number is what you have, same shroud for 273, 318, 340, and 383 so it makes them expensive for 273/318 owners. There is a much better reproduction available now compared to the first ones that broke apart. The 70-72 shroud is for the square top radiator and the 614 for the correct rounded top radiator.

Just a point.


The 67 v8 rad is slightly different then the 68-69

The lower outlet tube is an inch or so to the pass side as compared to the 68-69

So a modification to a 68-69 shroud would be needed to use it on a 67.

Thanks all, great information, I originally had a 19” radiator which was the original factory fitted unit, so it’s not had a shroud before.
