Hello. I have a big problem. I live in Finland. I have valiant signet -65 and i want take roof off, but examiner say to is not possible beacase valiant and valiant convertible have different frames and different windshield frame. Is that true? I very appreciate if somebody can tell me is that true.

The windshield frames are different. If you need a windshield just find one for a hardtop. The convertible cars had "torque boxes" welded into the frame to make up for the loss of stiffness the roof provides.
The torque boxes are available and can be found on the web. I would also recommend "frame connectors" for some more added stiffness.
I'm guessing that you are not making a convertible, but just a topless runabout. I hope this helps.

Convertble cars also had extra metal in the rocker panels
In the case of my '68 Newport, LOTS of extra metal in the insides of the rockers.
