I have a 68 Barracuda slant 6 car my father gave me when i was 14. We built it for 4 years while I was in high school and I finally got to drive it my senior year. We built a 360 up, mild cam, punched out .30 over and it was an automatic. We painted it plum crazy purple, I installed a butterfly scoop and cut a hole in the hood to match. Flat black hood and she was all ready to cruise. I had it for two weeks in school and it got keyed down the drive side. then a week later a kid pulled out in front of me making a U turn and my stock poor drum brakes couldn't stop.

The car was totalled out with a bent uni-body. I used the money to buy another car :/ I slowly started to build the car again and managed to get two other parts cars. My dads garage burnt down and caught my car on fire and it was not salvagable. I removed my doors and trunk lid from the purple car and they were the only parts not in the garage at the time. So I decided to build one of my parts cars instead. So here I am present day. Im planning on:
6.4 Hemi crate engine. 545RFE tranny. RMS tubular front end. Street lynx 4 link Rearend kit. Wilwood Dic brake kit all the way around. Niche 18" wheels. Fuel cell in trunk.

Thanks man I appreciate it. I'm going for a complete Resto Mod rebuild. No short cuts and I want to run and drive like a new car. This is the custom dash I built. Im gonna install Autometer Phantom II gauges.

Thanks guys! Yea I never found out who did it or I would have been in jail. What color is your dart 72 bb swinger?

The car is off to get blasted! Its awesome when the owner comes and picks the car up for me on his tilt bed and will deliver it! :) so i'll update in a couple days!

Yea I'd like to do that sometime! I'm sure you hear this alot but you have a very nice dart. I can tell you put alot of time into doing it right

Thanks! You obviously havent looked very close lol! Im not right in the head, and I like to go fast.

Yea the 6.1 is what I originally planned since they are easier and cheaper to come by but i'd came up with the idea of just installing a cam in the 6.4 and tune it myself. I've tuned several other vehicles around town and the hemi would help to further my knowledge of tuning. Are you gonna do any engine mods to it or just drop a crate engine
