First time posting. I have a 1975 Duster with slant six. I Bought the parts carb kit for $20 from O'Reillys. Then I started on the fuel lines from the new gas tank and sending unit. I am j reusing the factory retainer claps so I bent the lines the same way with one modification. the lines were about $8 a stick and the tube bending tool was $12 it took 3 sticks to make it all the way to the carb.
(lines were 5/16 )

Thanks. We like photos. Looks like perhaps a Holley 1945. A few thoughts:

The way the factory ran the fuel tubing across the front can cause "vapor lock" issues in the summer. Some people have re-routed the fuel supply. You might slide plastic sleeve over the areas where it runs hot (silicone w/ fiberglass is best).

The new lock rings which come w/ most new fuel senders are notoriously loose. Some people re-use their old ones, or use 2 rubber gaskets.

Be careful not to degrade the coating on the carb bodies. Rebuilders often do that by aggressive cleaning, with the result of bare aluminum which corrodes and clogs jets.

Yep, Holley 1945. Carburetor operation and repair manuals and links to training movies and carb repair/modification threads are posted here for free download. You may want to take the opportunity to do the Fuel line mod while you are reworking the lines. Also, a № 1234 Electric choke kit will give more dependable cold starts and driveability, and—the really nice part—adjustability.
